Nearby are miles of hiking/cross-country skiing trails connecting with Quechee State Park along the Ottaquechee River

Quechee was also known for a picturesque covered bridge at the site of the old Quechee mill, which now houses a commercial glass-blowing facility. The bridge was severely damaged by flooding caused by Hurricane Irene (2011).
