Hampstead, NH
Like many communities in the southern tier of the state, a survey ordered by the King of England, separated Timberlane Parish from its Massachusetts colony connections and designated it as a part of New Hampshire. The crown’s Governor Wentworth named the area Hampstead, after the location and manor of his friend, William Pitt.
Incorporated in 1749, Hampstead has evolved into a scenic community with picturesque landscapes, streams and ponds. Adhering to the tradition of Timberland (plentiful woodlands), Hampstead has been a pioneer in establishing a community-wide trail network. Efforts over a long period have resulted in an opportunity for outdoor activities for hikers, horseback riders, and cross country skiers. Preservation of open space is a priority as the community strives to maintain its rural character, protect wildlife and provide recreational opportunities for all ages, within a framework for planned growth.
Easy access to interstate route 93 provides local residents with reasonable drive times to the Greater Boston area to the south and to Concord and the Lakes Region to the north. Within the community are New Hampshire routes 111 and 121, affording easy access to surrounding communities. The community is also served by two major airports, Manchester and Boston.
The management of Stonehill Builders LLC believe they have created a 55 and over community that will make you proud to call Irongate Village of Hampstead Condominium your home.
