Salmon Falls - Rollinsford, NH
Sitting on the border of Maine & New Hampshire, is the historical community of Rollinsford. Incorporated in 1849, the Town was home to many textile mill workers who supported their families by working in the large mill buildings on the banks of the Salmon Falls River.
Today, Rollinsford is the home of many local artisans and businesses who have rejuvenated the mill buildings and made this community a center of livelihood. With the hustle and bustle of Dover and Portsmouth nearby, this quaint town offers the charm of yesteryear with all of today’s conveniences. Walk out your front door to restaurants, shopping, the Post Office, or kayaking and canoeing. Or take long strolls and bike rides on trails along the Salmon Falls River.
Second Street at Salmon Falls sits on a tree-lined street where the
brick buildings of last century’s mill village have been tastefully
updated to today’s standards. One, two and three bedroom condominiums
are not only affordable but a place you’ll be proud to call home.
Enjoy lunch at the local café, walk the river’s edge and
feel the history of Rollinsford, New Hampshire!
