Rowe is a small town located along the northern border of Franklin County in northwestern Massachusetts.  It is situated along the Deerfield River.

The town of Rowe includes wooded mountains and brooks.  Outdoor recreational opportunities include hiking, kayaking, canoeing, fishing and hunting.

Rowe houses its own elementary school.  Grades 7-12 attend school through the Mohawk Trail Regional District.  The town is also home to its own historical society and museum.

Rowe Massachusetts was home to 351 residents, according to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau.  This included 105 families and 154 households.
