Wendell Real Estate

Wendell is a small rural town located in Franklin County, Massachusetts.  It is situated on the Connecticut River Valley.  The town was settled in 1754 and incorporated in 1781.  It is named after Oliver Wendell of Boston.

Wendell offers many out door recreational opportunities through its forest and conservation lands. It is home many dancers, musicians and artists.

According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Wendell was home to 986 residents, 378 households and 224 families.  The average family size was 2.88 and the average household size was 2.35.  Wendell Massachusetts is comprised of 32 square miles of land and 0.2 square miles of water.
