Cape Elizabeth is a seacoast town located in Cumberland County, Maine.  The village boasts sandy beaches, rocky coasts and wetlands.  It is situated at the entrance of Casco Bay.

Cape Elizabeth is home of the Portland Head Light lighthouse and Crescent Beach State Park.  This state park offers oceanfront beaches, swimming, hiking, kayaking, fishing and boating.  Cape Elizabeth is also the home of the Beach to Beacon 10K road race.

According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Cape Elizabeth was home to 9,068 residents.  This included 3,488 households and 2,605 families.
