Casco is located in the Sebago Lakes region in Cumberland County, Maine.  Casco is home to eight ponds and lakes.  It is comprised of 32 square miles of land and six square miles of water.

Casco is a popular summer destination.  The town includes many summer vacation resorts, bed-and-breakfasts, vacation homes, a golf course.

According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Casco was home to 3,777 residents.  This included 1,327 households and 958 families.
