The town of Gray is located in Cumberland County, Main.  It is 16 miles north of Portland and 111 miles north of Boston. 

Gray is home to Libby Hill Forest Trails, the Maine Wildlife Park, the Spring Meadows Golf Course, Gray Plaza Shopping Center.  Historic sites in town include the Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum, the Victoria Mansion, the Harriet Beecher Stowe House and the Children’s Museum of Maine.  Little Sebago Lake and Crystal Lake provide boating and fishing.

According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Gray was home to 6,820 residents.  This included 2,637 households and 1,890 families.
