Harrison is a small town located in the foothills of western Maine in Cumberland County.  It is situated between Long Lake and Crystal Lake.  The town is bounded by Waterford and Norway to the north, Naples to the south, Otisfield to the east, and Bridgton to the west.  It is comprised of 33 square miles of land and 0.8 square miles of water.

The town of Harrison is an historic resort area.  It is home to the Harrison Historical Society Museum which includes a farmhouse, fruit storage house, sheds, a barn and a log shop.

According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Harrison was home to 2,315 residents.  This included 920 households and 662 families.
