Island Falls is a town in Aroostook County, Maine, United States.

According to the US census, the town has a total area of 40.5 square miles, of which 35.9 square miles is land and 4.6 square miles (11.34%) is water. Island Falls also has two main lakes, Pleasant and Mattawamkeag.

At the 2010 there were 837 people residing in the town, and according to the 2000 census there were 346 households and 229 families residing in the town. The population density was 22.1 per square mile. There were 635 housing units at an average density of 17.7 per square mile.
