Bennington, New Hampshire is a quiet residential community located in Hillsborough County.  It is bounded to the northeast by Deering, to the east by Francestown, to the south by Greenfield, to the southwest by Hancock, and to the west and north by Antrim.

Bennington is home to the longest single family owned paper manufacturing firm in the country.   It is also home to Crotched Mountain Park and Zero-G Progression Park.

According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Bennington’s population at the time was 1,401 people.  This included 552 households and 356 families.  The average family size was 3.18 and the average household size was 2.54. 

Bennington Real Estate and Homes:  In 2000, there were 635 homes (houses and condos) and an average of 57 homes per square mile.  In 2007, it was estimated that real estate in Bennington was comprised of a total of 704 homes.  This included 486 single family houses and 174 multi-unit homes.
