Cornish is a summer resort town located in Sullivan County, New Hampshire.  The town is home of the Saints-Gaudens National Historic Site which includes the home, studios and gardens of the famous sculptor, Augustus Saint-Guadens.  This historic site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Cornish is also home to longest wooden covered bridge in the country, as well as the longest two span covered bridge in the world.  

Recreational opportunities include fishing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.
According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Cornish was home to 1,661 residents, including 645 households and 465 families.
