Epsom Real Estate

Epsom is located in Merrimack County, New Hampshire and includes the village of Gossville.  Epsom is situated 20 miles from Manchester, 80 miles from Boston and 84 miles from Portland.  It is six miles long, and 4 ½ miles wide.  It is bordered on the north by Pittsfield, on the south by Allenstown, on the east by Deerfield and Northwood, and on the west by Chichester and Pembroke.

Epsom is home to the Popple Island Wildlife Sanctuary.  This sanctuary includes 143 acres of woodlands and wetlands and hiking trails.  It is home to different species of wildlife, plants and trees.

According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Epsom was home to 4,021 residents.  This included 1,491 households and 1,103 families.  The average family size was 3.01 and the average household size was 2.62.  Epsom is comprised of 34.2 square miles of land and 0.2 square miles of water.
