Grantham is a small rural town located in Sullivan County, New Hampshire.  It is situated along the Sugar River and is 58 miles from Manchester.

Grantham was granted in 1761 and incorporated as Grantham in 1818.  Grantham is home to the Dunbar Free Library, and the Grantham Village School. 

According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Grantham was home to 2,167 residents.  This included 924 households and 707 families.  Grantham is comprised of 27.2 square miles of land and 0.9 square miles of water.
