Greenville, New Hampshire is an historic village located in Hillsborough County, on the Souhegan River.  It is situated 28 miles from Manchester and 67 miles from Boston.
 
Incorporated in 1872, Greenville is one of New Hampshire’s newest and smallest towns.  The mill town was home to the Columbian Manufacturing Company since 1826.  Although the company is gone, its brick buidlings still dominate the village, along with Queen Anne houses.  

Greenville is home to fishing, boating, swimming, hiking and conservation areas.  It is also home to 200 acres of frontage on the Souhegan River.

According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Greenville’s population at the time was 2,224 people.  This included 879 households and 556 families.  The average family size was 3.16 and the average household size was 2.53.  Greenville, New Hampshire is comprised of 6.9 square miles.
