Lee is a rural bedroom community located in Strafford County, New Hampshire. It was settled in 1657, incorporated in 1766, and was originally part of the Dover Township. Numerous faculty of the University of New Hampshire in Durham reside in Lee. Lee offers many outdoor recreational activities. They include camping, fishing, boating, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. The town is also home to Bedroom Gardens, a 20-acre property known for its horticulture, landscape and sculpture.
