Lyndeborough is located in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.  It is 25 miles from Manchester and 67 miles from Boston.  It is one of the smallest towns in the Souhegan Valley Township.

Lyndeborough is home to the Lafayette Artillery Company.  It is also home to the Citizens Hall and the Lyndeborough Center Historic District, which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  

Once a glass-making center, Lyndeborough was home to the Lyndeborough Glass Company which was one of New England’s biggest manufacturers of bottleware.  The main industry today is apple growing.

Lyndeborough is home to Curtis Dogwood State Forest, which houses one of New Hampshire’s few waterfalls.  It is also home to Purgatory Falls, and The Wapack National Wildlife Refuge. 

According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Lyndeborough’s population at the time was 1,585 people.  This included 560 households and 420 families.  The average family size was 3.20 and the average household size was 2.83.  Lyndeborough, New Hampshire is comprised of 31.1 square miles of land and 0.1 square miles of water.
