North Conway Real Estate

North Conway is a town located in Carroll County, NH. As of the 2010 census, the poplulation was 2,349. A  year-round resort area, North Conway is the largest village within the town of Conway, which is bounded on the east by the Maine state line. The White Mountain National Forest is to the west and north.

With a backdrop of over 700,000 acres of protected White Mountain National Forest and boasting the tallest peak in the East, visitors to the North Conway, New Hampshire area have plenty to enjoy. North Conway is primarily known for its vast shopping center of outlet shops. It is home to hundreds of stores, fine art galleries and factory outlets to shop in for clothing, artwork, outdoor and mountaineering equipment, NH-made gifts and crafts, and gourmet gadgetry.

The area is a major rock climbing destination in the northern United States and hikers take pleasure in exploring the surrounding White Mountain National Forest. The Mt. Washington Observatory, capturing the summit's interesting weather patterns, provides an exciting educational experience for visitors. 

Another big draw to the North Conway, New Hampshire area is the Conway Scenic Railroad. Families travel hours to partake in this authentic railroad experience and enjoy the nostalgic train rides and lunches offered in the dining cars during their full summer season.

 As of the 2000 census, there were 2,069 people, 1,002 households, and 487 families residing in the North Conway. The population density was 483.9 people per square mile.
