Plymouth, NH is a town in Grafton County, New Hampshire, in the White Mountains Region. Plymouth is located at the heart of New Hampshire, between the scenic Lakes Region and the White Mountain National Forest. As of the 2000 census, the population was 6,990. The town, which places a high premium on education, is home to Plymouth State University and Plymouth Regional High School. Plymouth also offer's it's own critical access hospital, Speare Memorial Hospital. Downtown Plymouth is a classic New Hampshire town, complete with a town common, post office, town hall and library all within walking distance. Downtown is a great place to shop, eat and mingle.
