Warren is a town in Grafton County, New Hampshire in the Lebanon metro area. Of the six towns named Warren in New England, New Hampshire's is the smallest by population. The population was 904 at the 2010 census. Warren includes the village of Glencliff.
Warren, New Hampshire's unique attraction is a 70-foot Redstone missile, an actual NASA rocket, that resides in the town's center. The missile was brought to the White Mountains by Ted Asselin and Irving MacDonald. This is the same type of rocket that sent New Hampshire native Alan Shepard into space. The missile was placed in honor of long-time Senator Norris Cotton, a Warren native.
According to the US Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 49.0 square miles, of which 48.5 square miles is land and 0.6 square miles is water, comprising 1.18% of the town. Warren is drained by the Baker River. Warren is set in the White Mountains and surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest.
As of the 2000 census, there were 873 people, 355 households, and 227 families residing in Warren. The population density was 17.9 people per square mile. There were 506 housing units at an average density of 10.4 per square mile.
