Dorset is an upscale community located in Bennington County, Vermont.  It is situated five miles north of Manchester.  It is known as a summer vacation town.  It is the home of many notable artists, writers, painters, potters, carvers, cabinet makers and builders of fine custom furniture.

The Dorset Theatre Festival attracts many visitors to the town.  The Dorset Playhouse offers a variety of productions and musicals.
