Plymouth is located in Windsor County, Vermont.  It is situated 15 miles from Windsor and 52 miles from Plymouth.  The town was settled in 1776.

Located in Plymouth is the hilly district of Plymouth Kingdom, which lies in the foothills of the Saltash Mountain.  Plymouth was home to Calvin Coolidge, the 30th President of the United States.  The Coolidge Homestead is now owned and maintained by the State of Vermont.

According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Plymouth Vermont was home to 555 residents.  This included 251 households and 168 families.  The average family size was 2.59 and the average household size was 2.21.
