Let me start by saying that I'm generally not one to hand out reviews, especially 5 star reviews. But boy did Bill earn all 5 of his stars! We were referred to him by three different people in town so we figured we’d give him a call one day thinking we already knew what we wanted as long time “window shoppers”. Ultimately, Bill would challenge us all in the right ways; though he did not challenge us immediately. First, he showed us several of the houses that we had *thought* we were looking for and asked us what we saw in them so he could better understand our perspective. Once he had gained a thorough understanding of our situation and true needs, he started to enlighten us on a number of topics that ultimately better informed our decision-making process and landed us our dream home. Bill could have easily made a quick sale and been on his way with house #1 that he showed us, which we were dead set on and were eager to make an offer. Instead he told us "I can't, in good conscience, recommend this house." He asked us to instead review some of the other houses we were interested in through his trained eye, before walking us through another house that he felt like was a better fit for our family. Low and behold, the house Bill recommended was the house we went with, and boy are we happy we listened! Through the entire process of working with him, I learned that Bill is first and foremost a man of integrity, not just trying to make a buck or meet a KPI. He proved that on day 1. From there out, I came to understand his deep knowledge of local builders, maintenance & repair costs, extensive network and understanding of local tradesman who either had performed or could perform certain tasks on subject houses, as well as an impressive ability to get us exclusive showings on houses that weren’t quite ready to be shown. To top it all off, Bill was able to work out a way to sell our previous home in the same deal with the seller of our new home. During a time when contingencies can make-or-break locking in a purchase and sales and we fully expected to have to float our old home, Bill moved mountains to ensure we had a clean and easy transaction and closed on our house the same day/time we closed on the new house, at the same closing! Talk about thinking outside the box!

We consulted with friends who lived in the area and received a few suggestions for a broker. Bill Taylor was overwhelming recommended. From our initial meeting with Bill where we outlined our list of 'musts' for our new home until when we were handed the keys Bill was a consummate professional. Given his incomparable knowledge of the area (meaning a wide area encompassing many different counties)
William (Bill) Taylor went many extra miles, including coordinating needed repairs, to make the selling process go as smoothly as possible for me while realizing the full value of my house. Bill is a no-nonsense, cut-to-the-chase professional who knows the area and knows real estate; he earned my confidence early in the selling process, and I fully intend to use him again when I purchase my next house.
We live out of state and decided to work with William Taylor because he was recommended to us by a friend. William did a great job for us. We relied on him a great deal to get the home inspection done, and to work with the closing company and the seller's real estate agent. William was very prompt and was always easy to get in touch with. I would recommend William to anyone that needs a professional on their side.
We could not have had a better experience with the sale of our home thanks to our Realtor Bill Taylor. My husband and I were both licensed realtors In the same brokerage firm till approximately 5 years ago. Many people asked if we would be selling our home ourselves but we were not even remotely tempted and have strong opinions about whether anyone actually walks away with more money at the closing. The sale of a home is too personal and the psychology of valuation makes rational pricing (and frequently civil negotiations) virtually, impossible for even the most knowledgeable, rational and ethical seller. We were very emotional about selling the house for reasons beyond the scope of my recommendation however it's important to point out because Bill was able to spare us a lot. Bill did such a beautiful and smart job with the photos, price and listing that we were under contract 4 days after listing the house . He was patient and never once became frustrated with us which was impressive considering we are Olympic caliber procrastinators and have a number of special qualities that every Realtor dreads in a client. We were at least smart enough to know that it was in our best interest to rely on someone else's expertise, and to give that person our trust, so we needed someone we were confident was experiencenced, competent and trustworthy. Bill made it easy for us to stop worrying. Bill was very thorough, organized, an excellent communicator and exactly who you want advocating for you. I am confident no other agent could have made this process any easier, faster or as painless. Having an intelligent, trustworthy and savvy agent is very reassuring when you are selling your most valuable asset.
