I have worked with both Carole Wright (a few years ago) and Robert Melanson most recently. Both were fantastic realtors! Carole was actually the seller’s agent but my realtor was less than helpful (a different agency) and while being a great representative for the seller, she actually was the one who made the sale happen for us as well. She is very smart, connected with all parties well and made the whole process clear and seamless. Most recently, Bob Melanson was the most meticulous agent I have ever worked with. I found Bob when we were looking for an island and had seem a very large property that was quite complicated to visit. It required taking a boat, meeting up with a caretaker and hiking over four miles on steep woodland trails. Bob was up for the adventure and made sure we connected with all the important parties. He also made us aware of many things about island hunting in Maine that we did not know and told us some questions to ask that we would not have thought of ourselves. The second property we saw wanted us to pay a large sum to ride a boat out to see the island—I was uneasy about this and Bob again gave me great advice. We ended up not seeing the property and I am glad we did not. It is still on the market months later and there were again going to be big complications. Bob was invaluable as our agent. By the time I located a very distant and large camp property that was in the north woods and very isolated I knew that I wanted Bob to represent us in the sale so I called him. There was a right of first refusal document from the power company that took some time to sort out. He also helped us in suggesting how to make an offer and when it became clear that it was going to be competitive agreed with me that we should offer cash. Our offer was accepted and he set up a very quick closing and helped us communicate with the sellers so that we got a proper orientation at the property after the sale, which was the only time we could get up there to take ownership. This was the smoothest property purchase I ever experienced and was relatively stress free because Bob took care of everything for us. I am super grateful to him for a couple of sacrifices he made and the large amount of time and detail work it took to get everything lined up in less than two weeks! I could not be happier with this agency, and with Bob and Carole in particular. Warm friendly and caring, but also super professional and very knowledgeable, your agents really know their stuff!!
