At the beginning of the 2021 season Ellen went into real estate. Well, let me tell you she is a natural for this job! She is very intelligent and has a remarkable personality. Because of her special talents and lust for knowledge in the real estate field, I decided to list one of my houses with her. She did an excellent job in doing her research on my property. She listed it on a Friday and had it under contract by Sunday. She did a great job! Ellen has an extremely likable and contagious personality. She is going to become a very busy and successful realtor. She loves her job. I would not hesitate to use Ellen in any future real estate ventures.

I cannot say enough about Ellen McKee. She is organized, friendly, responsive, flexible and knows Frye Island inside and out. I was completely satisfied with how she handled the sale of my vacation home, and the first one I’d call if I purchase another. I didn’t know Ellen before I retained her as my agent. Ellen was candid about being in the early stage of her career, but I have purchased and sold property both personally and as an attorney, and she impressed me with her knowledge and her energy. I appreciated that she wanted to get to know my needs and concerns about the property and its sale. She addressed each question thoroughly from the first meeting through the closing, and after. Rarely was she not able to answer a question, but if she couldn’t, she let me know, and promptly got back to me. Each time, I appreciated that she wanted to get the answer, not an answer. The main things you need to know about Ellen are that she has a sparkling, outgoing, and kind personality, an enormous network of friends and contacts in the area due to having grown up in Portland in her popular socially and athletically active family, and is super knowledgeable of all things real estate. My experience was very short because she sold my house in 2 days. Her aforementioned qualities are exquisitely important, but something that knocked my socks off was that instead of the typical online house tour, she put a link everywhere the listing appeared which opened an innovative, creative, interactive site, that included a charming video of the property showing flowers riffling in the breeze and even a dog wading in the pond. I feel certain that helped generate the huge number of views that ballooned by the hour on a popular real estate site. This is what I wrote about it at the time to my daughter, who has recently chosen Ellen as her and her husband's agent, "The site is crazy elegant, inviting, fun, easy to flow right through all the delightful info, pictures, even video with amazing panoramas of the property. It is so classy.
