My experience working with Kathy Ahlin was excellent from start to finish. Our permanent home is in Florida and this home is our secondary residence in Concord, NH. As I was not completely sure at the start of this process whether to rent out our house or sell it out right, I had many questions. I also had a short, specific window of time that I could travel to New Hampshire to meet with Ms. Ahlin and make a decision. Kathy kindly accommodated my travel schedule and met with me at my earliest convenience. Kathy knew that this would be my first experience either selling a house or renting it. She came prepared to our meeting with multiple resources to assist me in my decision-making, including recent Concord sales comps, and sales/rental comparison stats over multiple years spread. Kathy had already started “beating the bushes“ for potential rental inquiries prior to our meeting. This initiative on her part proved invaluable for me, as that was the route which I chose. In a matter of days, Kathy found the perfect potential renters, completed the application process and critical background checks (criminal history, employment and income verification, etc.), and scheduled a meeting to show our home before I had to fly out, so that I could meet the potential renters. Kathy worked with me in preparing a lease agreement that was suitable for both me and my tenants. Even after the lease was signed, and her commission had been paid, Kathy continued to work on my behalf, by researching and connecting me with an insurance agency that helped me secure a tenant/rental policy (after my previous insurance agency had failed to do so, with precious little time left prior to our tenants’ move-in date.). Suffice it to say, I recommend Kathy Ahlin and the Better Homes & Gardens Masiello Group in Concord, New Hampshire without reservation!
