It's easy to see why ourlocals love living Nashua, NH so much. It's in the ideal location nestled between the Nashua and Merrimack Rivers and only 30 minutes from the New Hampshire seacoast. It's got a bustling downtown and a thriving workplace. It's an area that our Nashua real estate agents love calling home, and these are the things the locals love about it.

  • Three Times the Charm
    Nashua is the only city that Money Magazine has ranked the #1 "Best Place to live in America" in both 1987 and 1997. Also, the magazine ranked it 16th of 50 communities as "Best Places to Live 2016."

  • Business Destination
    Nashua's college graduates specialize in engineering, business, communication, and technical fields. There is plenty of jobs right in town, especially if you are a techie. Companies such as Dell, Oracle, and Intel all have locations in town. Also, Boston is only a 45-minute commute away, where there are a plethora of even more career opportunities waiting for you.

  • Experience Downtown Nashua
    Downtown Nashua is an experience itself. Over the last decade, it's become a community hotspot.It's the perfect spot to grab a homemade pastry and coffees at Belle's Pastry & Coffee Shop or try some local Irish pubs or wine bars in the evening with your neighbors. There is so much to do downtown, from window shopping at the furniture and décor stores to trying a new ballet or barre class.

  • Holiday Traditions
    Christmas is a big deal in Nashua, starting with the Friday after Thanksgiving. They've started a new tradition, "Plaid Friday," where those donning plaid receive bigger discounts at downtown stores. The biggest event is the Winter Holiday Stroll. In 2017, around 35,000 people attended to see the tree lighting, street vendors, and live entertainment. The locals also love the Irish Christmas concert in December.

  • No Taxes
    If you buy anything besides food or beverages, you won't have to pay tax on it. Nashua doesn't impose a state or local tax, making it easier for locals to go shopping.

  • Shop 'til You Drop
    Speaking of shopping, can you shop for hours? Nashua and the neighboring town of Merrimack have you covered. From the downtown designer boutiques to the nearby Pheasant Lane Mall, Nashua offers a plethora of stores. Only five miles away, the locals love the discounts at the Merrimack Premium Outlets at stores such as Calvin Klein, Coach, and Banana Republic.

  • Heart of the City
    Throughout Nashua, you'll find a number of city parks, including Mine Falls Park. The 325-acre park features well-landscaped trails for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing. There are also opportunities to fish and kayak along the Nashua River. Locals also enjoy playing baseball or softball in one of the many fields.

  • Neighborhood Park
    The residents of Nashua love Greeley Park because it has something for everyone. Throughout the park, you'll find hiking trails, ball fields, horseshoe pits, and picnic facilities. They've added a community garden, and local high school students and engaged couples often use this park for photos. It houses many of the city's annual events, including the upcoming Santa in the Park, where you can take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus in the Gazebo.
