The Masiello Group continues its yearly efforts in the Bangor, Maine Region creating opportunity for the local community to participate in a wonderful cause through household donations.

Bedford, NH. October 18, 2023: The Better Homes and Gardens The Masiello Group, Bangor, Maine office with affiliate, Great East Title, combined their hard-working teams last month to raise $10,025 through a local benefit yard sale. This yearly group effort helps Sarah's House maintain the wonderful care they give to cancer patients and their families.

This year, 2023, marks the eleventh year that Better Homes and Gardens The Masiello Group and now, Great East Title have participated in, giving to a cause that is dear to their hearts. Sarah, of the namesake Sarah's House, was a realtor known in the community, that many of The Masiello Group Bangor team members and agents knew personally. While going through her own cancer treatments, Sarah would meet many like herself who needed to travel extended miles, staying in hotels while getting their treatments. Her dream, now a reality, was to open a comforting home-away-from-home where these patients could stay while in treatment. Her twin sister and husband kept the dream going after she passed away and Sarah's house opened its doors.

"I am always inspired by our agents and offices and the extra work that goes into rallying around an incredible cause like Sarah's House."

The Better Homes and Gardens The Masiello Group and Great East Title team bring their "A" game each year they have participated in raising money for Sarah's House to ensure the success of this donation continues to help as many families as possible get through a difficult time. After this year's donation, they have raised over $85,000 over the past 11 years.
